On May 23, SIGNIS JAPAN General Assembly 2012 was held in Tokyo with the presence of Bp. Kazuo Koda. The session was opened with the Bishop’s prayer.
The 2011 activity report and financial report were presented and approved, and the 2012 activity plan and budget were presented and after discussion approved. The hot issue was the election of the officers. The new officers for 3 years from spring 2012 to spring 2015 were as follows:
President: Mr. Shigeki Chiba (re-elected)
Vice-President: Mr. Itaru Tsuchiya (re-elected)
Secretary: Mr. Tsuneaki (Mac) Machida (re-assigned)
Then, SIGNIS GoodNews Network (SNN) presented their activity report, financial result, budget, etc. Basically SNN is making steady progress thanks to the streneous work of the members. Even though SNN needs to brush up their web-site, there are already 10 video clips (in Japanese) with 3 video clips in English version. (You may watch their website by clicking here)
