SIGNIS ASIA ASSEMBLY 2011 IN NEPAL
SIGNIS JAPAN participated the SIGNIS ASIA ASSEMBLY 2011 in Nepal October 16-22. We presented our current status quo of the Great Earthquake and Tsunami of March 11, 2011, of Eastern Japan, and how the Catholic Church is acting there. Also we participated as panelist for the panel discussion on “Consumerism, Media Imperialism, Cyber bullying”. Our Country Report is posted separately in “English Plaza”. We learned a lot from other countries and regions. We hope to imitate some of the good practices, but there are challenges as the history and the culture are different. Nevertheless, we have hope to move slow but steady.
