SIGNIS JAPAN has awarded its “recommendation” to the Director Shigeki Chiba’s film, “Living with Mother Teresa”, a special film commemorating Mother Teresa’s 100th anniversary of her birth. This film depicts how the spirit of Mother Teresa has been transferred in Japan; Japanese medical interns working in the House for The Dying, volunteers working for the hospice called “Hope House” in Sanya, Tokyo, and Sisters and Brothers of Mother Teresa, living with lonely elderly and homeless persons.
The film is also presented as barrier-free; with Japanese subtitles and additional audio channel (for audio guide) for the handicapped viewers/audience bringing joy of film-viewing to the hearing/visually impaired persons.
FSP (Daughters of St. Paul), Tokyo, has just released the DVD (NTSC Region 2) with English and Japanese subtitles and audio guide.
